Day Job: Computer System Design and Programmer
Other Interests: motorcycles, music, movies, running, self improvement, exploring deep thoughts, video editing, conservative movement, roller costars, racing
- I have added a couple of videos from jumps at Skydive Miami. Maureen and I are going to the Coach Freeks Boogie for our honeymoon. Maureen is working on her coach rating. You can find us skydiving at Miami until Punta Gorda season opener.
- My new favorite toy is the TomTom 630 GO with the Snoop Dog voice. This little $165 GPS for the car has made finding and going long distance to DropZones much easier. It'll also tell you all the locale restaurants based on your current location. I live near a town that doesn't allow street signs for businesses and this made it easy to find the Red Lobster and Movie Theater. Once you connect the TomTom to the computer you can download the Snoop Dog from the voices section and the DropZones from the Point Of Interest. Works with PCs and Macs.
- Sorry about the lack of updates. I have been fighting automated hackers hitting my site. The site is fully functional again.
- Maureen and I jumped at Skydive Miami for the 1st time together. They welcomed us right in and Fred gave us a tour. They have two A/C packing rooms! They own a nice quick Caravan (no windows) that takes under 20 minutes to get to altitude. The jumpers land in separate area then get bussed back to Manifest but at least you take off at Manifest. They had a good mix of about 20 jumpers when we went. We can't wait to go back.
- Christmas was very good to our family. Maureen and I are now working at new jobs! Who says you can't quit your crappy job and find a new one in a recession?
- I won the wife a ProTrack by getting second place in L&B accuracy at the SkyFest boogie. Maureen got her picture in the Charlotte Sun by landing on the accuracy target (in front of the news reporter).
- $25 to get in to SkyFest 2009 at Punta Gorda Florida.
RW Organizer: Lyle Presse
Freely Organizer: Gavin Griffin
Lots of Sponsors will be on hand
Grand Caravan, Maule Seaplane & 2 C-182s
Rumors of the James Bond DC-3 plane.
Check the above link for up to date info!
Registration $25.00 includes: Welcome bag, Saturday night's dinner & Boogie T-shirt
- The CARAVAN is back at Punta Gorda!!! Plus half of the Punta Gorda gang is on page 32 in the Nov 09 issue of Parachutist. Give some congrates to Anne-Laure for her 24 hours and 2000 jumps. ummm it's my 3rd month in a row and my wife is in it too.
- I got my picture in Parachutist Magazine for 2nd month in a row. Page 66 in October 2009 and page 20 in September 2009.
- Maureen and Erik 100th pie video is getting a lot of hits. You also might want to check out this funny tandem video.
- I started my new job on Tuesday! Maureen's still doing great at editing the videos and I've been uploading more photos. In other news the SW Skydive Boogie may have a Bi-Plane, Helicopter and a plane from the James Bond movie. Lyle Presse will be organizer for RW and Gavin Griffin will be organizer for Free-Flying.
- Roy's 35th also made it in Parachutist Sept 2009 on page 20!
- Skydive SW Florida says they'll have the Caravan (with windows) back earlier this year. Around October/November. It's a friendly grass-strip Dropzone with great fly over views of Port Charlotte, Gulf Of Mexico and right next to the Peace River. Also the Best Western has a good $89 rate and attached to a restaurant that has cheap and tasty surf n turf (around $15). So make it a point to check this place out anytime.
- Blue Skies Mag did an article on Roy's 35th Skydiving Anniversary. It has picture of some of us doing our free static line jump at Skydive SW Florida.
- Skydive SW Florida is offering the unbelievable deal of free ground school for those wanting to join the crazy world of skydiving! I think that's a $75 savings and I have no idea how long it'll last. They are a nice DropZone to learn at with great instructors and friendly skydivers.
- Maureen did her 100th jump at Punta Gorda and paid dearly for it. The gang pied Erik (100th also) and Maureen. See the pictures!
- Maureen and I are having fun visiting the Florida Dropzones (skydiving airports). We jumped at Sebastian the last two weekends. We plan on visiting Titusville and Lakeland in the next few months. Also plan on returning to Punta Gorda for Maureen's 100th.
- Maureen: Thanks for the great skydive in Sebastian this weekend. Was great to see old friends and meet many new ones. Loved spotting and jumping out of the same PAC I trained in. Great weekend!!!
- Maureen is closing in on 100 jumps. On only her 12th sit-fly jump she was able to hold the sit for the whole jump. Which is impressive because we haven't been jumping a lot lately and the last sit-fly jump was before the wedding.
- The Wedding DVD is done. Email me your address if you want a free copy. I'll be bringing a bunch to Punta Gorda this weekend.
Please don't be upset or take it personal that you were not invited to the wedding. Maureen and I wanted a small wedding and we didn't invite any friends or family. Thank you very much to all the well wishes.

- Maureen and I got married at Skydive SW Florida today! Many thanks to Ann and Roy for having the friendliest DZ to hold a wedding. Big thanks to John for the service and to Kazu for the video and photos. They will be posted soon. And many thanks to all the regular jumpers that make this a fun safe place. Thanks to Maureen for showing up. Blue skies.

# Wedding Video (wmv) 70MB *Final*
- Maureen: Happy two year anniversary Superman
- Will: Had a blast jumping in Punta Gorda with Maureen. The skydive wedding plans are working out. Early May.
- Will: On my way to airport hoping for good winds and blue skies.
- Will: I made some small updates to site.
- Maureen: Today's fortune: Mighty forces will come to your aide... crap
- Jumped my new V3 Micron with Skyhook and 3d spacer foam. Love the spacer foam. Had a one and a half spinner on opening to set the mood.
- Watched Maureen try out power para gliding.
- I added a new Photo Gallery to the website. I also posted new photos from Punta Gorda!
- I uploaded my first HD Video to YouTube.
- I jumped my new camera setup this weekend. I got the Sony HDR-HC5 HD 1080i camcorder. It's a really nice top mount setup with a Hypeye Pro D cameye in a Cookie box with ZKULL quick release. I had to drill a bunch of holes in the helmet for cables and mounting. I had to cut a square on the Cookie Box for the Hypeye connector. Most Sony HD camcorders with the D AV connecter allow for 3 stills shots at 2 mega pixels to be taken while shooting video. Those images look a little grainy. You can also take unlimited high quality 4 mega pixel shots in camera only mode. The Hypeye allows for quick shift between still/video modes. I plan on adding an Optima and getting a new flat top helmet.
- No news is good news. With the holiday season and a few other things I've been too busy to update the site. Maureen and I have been planning our wedding. We have been skydiving as much as possible at a few different drop zones Florida. Anyways all is well with us. Look for us in facebook.
- Maureen and I are engaged!
- We had 20 people on 5 teams in the scrambles. I was on Mike's team along with Vickie and Steve. We finished 3rd. Maureen was on Bruce's team along with Derek and Bob. They finished 5th. Maureen scored a bonus point for landing on the target. Her other 2 were just slightly off.
- Did you know you can go Hang Gliding in Florida? Maureen and I went on Friday and had a blast. We went tandem and you get towed by a powered ultra-light aircraft to 3K and then set free. Take off was smooth and relaxing. When they release the tow cable it gets real quite. I got to fly from 2k to 300 feet. Flying feels less dynamic then with a parachute and has a 10 to 1 and more glide ratio. If you love flying a parachute I think you will really enjoy flying a hang glider. The Florida Ridge is located 40 miles east of Fort Myers on State Road 80. Watch Maureen's YouTube video here.
- We finally pulled off the scheduled night jumps Friday night by doing 2 loads before midnight. We had light winds, no clouds and full moon. A few jumpers on load 1, doing there first night jump, gave the crowd a exciting show by doing poorly thought out landing patterns. Kevin broke his foot landing but everyone else was unhurt. The 2nd load was much better. I was only on the 2nd load and I got a new nick name for being the most lite up person with a very noticeable red light and flashing colored running lights on my legs.
- Maureen got her A License and then we did our first belly jump on Saturday. Check out the video.
- 5 new jumpers passed they're ISP evaluation jump including Maureen and Ashley.
- I did 3 good RW jumps and Maureen got in 2 coach jumps. She has 2 remaining items on her card. That will also be the last weekend for the Twin Otter.
- Anyone watching a weather report knows the 3rd attempt at a night jump didn't work out. Atleast we didn't get geared up this time. We all wished Rick a happy 44th birthday with a custom made card from Troy! He also got a bunch of cigars and a cake. Maureen's is almost off student status. She has 2 more jumps and 3 more items on her card to get her A-License. She has already taken the water training for her B- License. I hear we only have the Twin Otter for another 4 weekends. I'm guessing we will be flying in the PAC 750 XL.
- I got a brand new 2008 Honda Shadow 750.
- What a great weekend. The jump ships were: 2 Hot Balloons, a helicopter that fit 10 skydivers, a SkyVan and 2 twin otters. The non-jump ships: a Jet plane and prop stunt plane. Three people told me they flew the Jet. Lots of free beer and good food. Looked to be about 300 people in the hanger at any one time with the planes packed. For those losers that said you'd be out there at 6 am on Saturday for the balloon ride. You suck! Some moron tried to change the first come, first serve system that was listed and repeated all weekend! You also suck! I got to jump out of the balloon with Mark, Angel, Tattoo Tom and Jason and jumped from helicopter with John R. Video coming soon. Congrats to Mark for doing his 100th from balloon! Email me any pictures or video links and I'll put them up on this website.
- Maureen did her Level 8 jump. She's doing the video editing for me. Her youtube page. Smitty is back for now. I'm doing more RW (or whatever belly flying is called). Figures I finally get my picture in the Parachutist and it's for a belly jump. Everyone is loving the Twin Otter. I wish everyone a great year. Ron did a great goodbye video for Kara.
- Maureen is learning to edit and mix video. She redid my last video with new songs remixed video. I posted both of her first attempts. She's currently working on this weekends with Angel sit flying.
- Maureen did her first student jump. She exited the plane clean, had a blast with freefall and deployed on her own. She saw her shadow inside a rainbow on the cloud then flew inside it. She landed 5 yards from the student flag on her butt.
- Maureen started her first jump course on Saturday. She was unable to jump because of gusting winds past the student level. Hopeful Saturday the moon and sun will align and she'll have a safe and fun jump.
- Angel got Pied for 100th jump.
- Some french guy wants to break the longest, fastest speed and highest skydive records.
- Maureen did her second tandem jump with Rick. I exited with them and watch her learn the basics as I flew around them.
- Maureen did her first tandem skydive on Saturday. We did a kiss pass at 9000 feet. Check out her pictures and video by Smitty.
- They had 24 skydivers competing in the 4th of July TRAC Meet. My team the Freedom Fries came in 2nd which included Gavin, Vicky, Steve and me. It was fun and safe with free BBQ and beer at the end of day.
- Some YouTube videos I found.
81 CRW record
400 RW record.
- Every wonder what does an isolated thunderstorm weather forecast mean? It means up to 10% of area may see rain.

- Here's some new videos from John.

- Maureen enjoyed meeting everyone and watching us jump out of the plane. I don't think you guys can convince her to skydive. Who wants to bet how many times she'll come out before she jumps? BTW, she knows I'm crazy.
- Asking someone if the spot is good is not spotting! You better check the spot if someone asks you if it looks good. To spot is simple. The plane will push you a 1/4 mile forward. For every 10 mphs of wind between exit altitude and deployment altitude add a 1/4 mile. Post a comment if you have a different method.
- A few of us jumped out of the Caravan at Punta Gorda this week end. The day started off with Tattoo Tom hit a small tree on landing but was alright. I got to swoop some cattle. Kevin and Kara were learning to sit. Video will be posted soon. John Video Take 1 and Take 2
- The 2007 World Freefall Convention Has Been Cancelled!

- Ron made the cover of Parachutist with his chrome ball picture. Another picture by Lisa on page 40.
- A couple of us went to Sebastian this week. While I waited for John and Kara I did some jumps with the locals Luis and Bart. Congrats to Kara for learning to sit fly. Too bad the winds picked up preventing her from making more jumps. John and I found ourselves on a couple scary loads but all in all a good day.

- I'm posting the 2004 DVD. It's big so I recommend you download it and run it from your computer.
- Lisa sent everyone an email. Caleb passed away Monday morning in his sleep due to heart disease. A service will be held at the airport on Saturday, January 20th noon. I'm still in shock. Caleb helped so many people to realize their dream to skydive including me. In leui of flowers the family has asked that you make a donation in his name (Caleb P. Esmiol) to Hope Hospice. http://www.hopehospice.org/Donate.htm
- YouTube seems to work nice and I'm posting all new video there. You can still download a high quality video by clicking the HQ link. Feel free to send feedback to my email address.
- I created a traffic page for Broward county. It shows the traffic cameras for I95 and I595.
- I've moved into my new home. The website is back and should be stable now.
- I'm moving to Deerfield Beach on December 1st. This site may be down for a week or two.
- I made it to 30!
- Lisa and I went to Busch Gardens/Tampa for a romantic get away and to celebrate my 30th birthday. We went on all the roller-coasters and Lisa braved the 200 foot Sheikra and liked it so much she went on it twice. I went a third time to get a front row seat. Awesome ride.
- New video coming soon. Maybe tonight or tomorrow morning. The new parachute is great. I've been traveling this past few weeks. This weekend I'll be in Busch Gardens to ride the new roller coaster.
- Hurricane Ernesto thankfully wasn't a big deal. I'll probably post the weekend video tomorrow.
- The new parachute is fast and nice. I posted another video with the Bill, Dixie and John.
- My new parachute just got delivered. I'll be jumping this weekend.
- Where have I been? I've been waiting for my new Nitron 120 parachute to be shipped. Hopefully in 3 weeks. My Safire is just to painful to jump. I change the web address and format of the page.
- I upgrade this site. Downloads should be a lot faster!
- My site is now listed on google!!!
google skydiving fastwill
- Dixie did her 100th Jump!
- I did 13 jumps this weekend. Some under a Nitro 135 demo canopy. I'll post some video in a day or so.
- I posted the new video.

- You will be missed dear friend. My thoughts go out to all the fortunate people that knew Joe.
- Hi all you die hard fans. I've been too busy to update this site. I blame it on my new job. I will be gathering some video and posting a new video in a week or so.
- I added a video. Ya!
- I start my new job Monday as an Internet Programmer. Still working on updating site.
- Merry Christmas & Happy New Years!!!
- Dano's last day is tomorrow!!! Or was it today???
Rumor has it that he is giving up skydiving because of some women. I'd be surprised if there is a going away party. Because we know how Dano is.
- Today, Dixie completed her sign off jump. She is one of the few students that has returned after doing cut-away. Cheers and many safe jumps.
- The Caravan will look different this weekend.
- I'm in Chicago this weekend.
- Kim and Steve stopped my with their new baby boy. Steve did some jumps and Kim was waiting on rig to get fixed up.

- Hurricane Wilma is about to hit. Update: The Power/Internet was out for 5 days which effected this website. We are still having black outs.
- Kim & Steve had their baby last week sometime. Joe's kid was born last Saturday on the 15th.
- My site made it on to yahoo. Still waiting for it to hit Google. On yahoo do a search for "fastwill".
- I jump with a few of the newer skydivers this week. See video.
- OK, 2nd video of me doing RW in 2 weeks. Where did all the freeflyers go? At this rate I'll have to buy a RW suit.
- The big news this week: Jerry is gone. He and Pam are moving to California where he got a rigging job. Pam is still here for another week. There's going to be going away and baby shower for her at the Tiki Bar on the 9th. All are invited.
- Our new pilot Tracy is doing a great job. One day she drops Caleb in the middle of a rain storm and the next she drops Caleb in cane fields. What, Caleb is jumping again?
- The DZ has moved into the new building. It has: separate room with big screen satellite TV, historical photos all over the place and indoor shower.
- Lisa surprised me with a birthday party on Saturday. The best part that surprised everyone was Micheal and Dawn Marie came down from Chicago. I posted some pictures of that and a vacation trip to Peanut Island.
- Tomorrow is my last day working at a shitty-ass and under paid job. I will finally have time to do some major updates to this website.
- Back from Rantoul. More downs then ups on this one. Andy died on Saturday. Carl did a 50 way for his 50th birthday. Chris F. converted over to RW to make the 25 way and 50 way jumps. I met a few new faces and reunited with some old ones. Oh, and the Mr Bill gang (Team Crater) is still alive and kicking.
- I got a few things in mind for #1000
- Jump #900: Jumped with my sweetheart Lisa doing her 2nd tandem with Pam. Jump #901: My non-skydiving friends came out and did some tandems. I really want to thank the following for making this one of the most memorable days: Caleb, Lisa H, Dano, Matt, Pam, Rick, Jayna, Dawn Marie, MJ, Lionel, and most importantly Lisa. Also thanks to the 50 or so people I have done skydives with over the years.
- Jerry And Pam got married on the 29th! It was a blast with good people and delicious food.
- What a nice weekend for skydiving. We had tons of clouds but there always seemed to be a hole over the air port. Kazoo gave me some great tips on my head down.
- Chris Currie did his 100th skydive last week (and thought no one would find out).
- Oh, well. My new project, a custom built-PVR is eating up most of my time these days. I just can't keep my nerd genes suppressed. If you think a TiVo nice then my custom built PVR will really impress you. No spy-ware, no subscription fees and loaded with a bunch of other cool features.
- A couple of weeks ago Lisa and I did a loop around Florida. We stopped at Disney then continued to Williston and then DeLand. As luck would have it Disney had a special Star Wars day. I had to keep Lisa from running away with some Star Wars characters such as evil-Anikin and the whole Catina band. Williston was fun as always and got to jump the Franken Cessna. Jimmy's spotting is so good he had to explain it on final and after the jump. The fact that we opened on the wrong side of the Dz is just coincidence. DeLand was very open and friendly DZ and the pilot does the spotting. All kidding aside it was great jumping and visiting Jimmy and we love you Jen and your little dog too.
- I'm moving in with my girl friend so the updates will be about a month away. Feel free to post news in the message board.
- Almost everyone Fred jumped with over the years and his entire company came out Saturday for his memorial. A lot of jumpers got to do one last jump with Freddie as his ashes were sprayed on a few different jumps.
- Fred Brown died this past week at his home. Fred Brown had a very full and successful life. Good father, loyal friend, successful business and great since of humor.
- It was windy and very turbulent and oddly enough not to many people came out. I got 6 very bumpy jumps in.
- Jimmy came down for his 39th birthday.
- Rene hooked to low to ground and messed up his ankle. He was driven over to the hospital, bandaged and sent home. He'll most likely be out for a few months. Get well soon dude.
- Special thanks this week to Carl, Caleb and Rick for throwing a great party at Carl's Gaming Lodge. Some of us skydived in and others came by car. There was plenty of BBQ chicken, ATVs, music, Swamp tours and the Comedy duo of John H. and Kazoo. The next morning there was more ATV fun and shooting lessons from Rick.
- Kim is having a baby! I wish Kim, Steve & family the best! Due in about 8 months. The baby already has a few skydives.
- I woke up with this on my arm.
- What can I say, Twin Otter, 10 way team, old and many new faces , birthday and partying!!! What a great weekend!

- I'll be filming the 10-way team on Saturday. On Sunday I plan on doing some RW.
- Come join us for the Clew-less Boogie this weekend!!! We'll have a Twin Otter and Lyle Presse will be there to organize some RW jumps. The registration fee is some beer for the fridge.
- Helped Pam with 3 FJC students and they all did well!
- Did my 800th skydive videoing Lisa doing her 1st tandem with Pam!
- Got to help Pam with training two guys for their first jump.

- I ran the Miami Marathon this week instead of skydiving. Email me if I missed anything good.
- It's a boy!!! Matt's little boy Landen was born during the week. Congratulations!
- Went up to Williston for their Annual College Boogie. There was no jumping on Saturday due to low cloud cover, but still had large crowd and good spirits. Sunday the skies opened up and some very patient skydivers got to jump. Too bad the weather scared away the Hot Air Balloon and Bi-Plane, but that happens.
- I did my 12th hour of free-fall!
- I spent Saturday videoing a 10 way speed star team. Got beat up on exits but told that's part of being on a 10-way. I'm OK with that and had a great time!
- Johnny V did his 200th skydive after playing around with bird-man.
- Chris did his 500th skydive with his wife Angel as she did her lucky 13th tandem.
- Matt did his 1000th jump (on January 8th 2005)! Also his 6th Cut-away at same time! Way to go!
- Wow! Where was everyone? Sun Fest? The Miami Air Show? I had to pack parachutes so that made my job easy.
- After a crash course, Kazoo did his 1st Bird-Man (BEER!).
- My eye is healed so I'm back to normal.
- Jimmy jumped the tube for his 200th!
